Carbocisteine For the relief of cough characterized by excessive or sticky sputum or phlegm to help treat respiratory tract disorders such as acute bronchitis. Carbocisteine also reduces the number of exacerbations associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and inhibits the adherence of bacteria and virus to human respiratory cells. Carbocisteine is also used in the treatment of otitis media with effusion (glue ear).

How much and how often should you use this medicine?
Adult: 1 capsule every 8 hours or as prescribed by the physician.

Warnings and Precautions
Active peptic ulcer, concomitant administration of antitussive.
