METOPROLOL TARTRATE

PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED

Hypertension: As monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
Angina pectoris: Long-term prophylaxis.
Cardiac arrhythmias: Disturbances of cardiac rhythm, including supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias.
Myocardial infarction (MI): Treatment of hemodynamically stable patients with definite or suspected acute MI to reduce cardiovascular mortality. Adjunct to treatment of thyrotoxicosis and prevention of migraine.
